John P. King

John King is a seasoned real estate professional with over 40 years of experience as a licensed and bonded broker, and more than 30 years as a skilled real estate appraiser. He is the Owner and President of Danca Realty, Inc., where he has appraised various residential properties, including single-family homes, condominiums, and vacant land. John's appraisals are trusted by lending institutions, corporations, real estate firms, and legal professionals. He is recognized as an expert witness in civil, probate, and family courts.

John's educational background includes a college preparatory education at Bishop Brady High School in Concord, NH, followed by a degree from Boston College. He furthered his education with graduate business courses at both Boston College and Merrimack College and specialized in real estate through extensive coursework and seminars.

John has held leadership roles in the Greater Boston Multiple Listing Service and REALTY WORLD, including serving as President of the REALTY WORLD-New England Brokers Council. In addition to his real estate career, John has been active in the community, serving on the Malden, MA Zoning Board of Appeals and contributing to various non-profit organizations, including the Malden Historical Society and the Demond Pond Watershed Association.

Selling a house on your own can be an overwhelming task. There's advertising to plan and budget for, open houses and private showings to arrange, purchase offers to negotiate, contract contingencies to worry about, and complicated paperwork to fill out. Make it easy on yourself by putting your home in the hands of a seasoned professionals. We have extensive experience marketing properties and showing them to their best advantage.


First, we'll perform a comparable market analysis to determine the most appropriate price for your home. Then we'll provide home staging advice and suggest landscaping changes that will help draw buyers in. We'll advertise your home through a variety of methods, including local publications and online MLS® listings. 

 

A buyer's agent guides you through the home buying process - from house hunting to closing. We can help you weather the highs and lows of the buying process. When you contract with a buyer's agent they will:


  • Find homes for sale. A buyer's agent can help you understand the type of home you can afford in the current market, find listed & unlisted homes that match your needs, then help you narrow the options to the properties worth considering. With access to the Multiple Listing Service, we can see more information than you can using real estate websites and apps.
  • Know the area inside and out. Even if you are from the area, we may know details about zoning or taxes that you don't.
  • Set up tours. We will work with a home's listing agent or owners (if the property is for sale by owner) to schedule showings.  Also gather information we have learned about the sellers or the property.
  • Help you make an offer. We will explain the contract terms, answer your questions and walk you through each step of the process.
  • Negotiate with the seller or his agent.
  • Refer you to other professionals. Such as home inspectors, reliable mortgage brokers & real estate attorneys.
